Accessing Work Orders

Main Work Orders Screen

  1. Open the True Tracker mobile app
  2. Tap "Work Orders" from the main menu
  3. View your assigned work orders list

Work Order List View

  • My Work Orders: Assigned to you
  • Team Work Orders: Your team's assignments
  • All Work Orders: Organization-wide (if permitted)

Work Order Details

Viewing Work Order Information

  • Tap any work order to view details
  • Swipe left/right to navigate between work orders
  • Pull down to refresh the list

Key Information Displayed

  • Work order title and description
  • Priority level and status
  • Due date and estimated time
  • Location and equipment details
  • Assigned technician
  • Required parts and tools

Creating Work Orders (Mobile)

Quick Create

  1. Tap the "+" button
  2. Fill in basic information:
    • Title and description
    • Location (GPS auto-detect available)
    • Priority level
    • Category

Photo Documentation

  • Tap "Add Photo" to document issues
  • Use camera or select from gallery
  • Add multiple photos per work order
  • Annotate photos with text or drawings

Voice Notes

  • Tap "Voice Note" to record audio
  • Describe issues or instructions
  • Automatic transcription (if available)
  • Attach to work order for reference

Updating Work Orders

Status Updates

  • Tap "Update Status" button
  • Select new status:
    • Started: Begin work
    • In Progress: Work ongoing
    • On Hold: Temporarily paused
    • Completed: Work finished

  • Start Timer: Begin time tracking
  • Pause Timer: Temporary break

  • Manual Entry: Add time manually
